February Favorites

Before it gets any later in the month, these are my favorite products.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder- I bought this in 001 Translucent. This powder really does keep me shine free and gives me a smooth finish. I use it over my MAC MSF.
Vicktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Travel Duo-I hate lugging around the full size bottle of my perfume, this mini bottle is perfect to carry in my purse. Only $35.00 at Sephora
MAC Lipstick-In Kinda Sexy. Matte and beautiful! It looks like a dark Coral in the tube but applies a light warm Pink.
e.l.f. Makeup Mist and Set- If you like Urban Decay's All Nighter, you're gonna love this! You get the same results only for way cheap :) $3.00 at Walmart
Maybelline Clean Express Makeup Remover- Oil free. I found a dupe for my all time favorite makeup remover!!! I love Mary Kay's makeup remover but it runs out so quickly and at $15.00 it can get pretty pricey...I'm so glad I came across this at cvs it cost around $6.00 and does the EXACT same thing.
Kinda Sexy lipstick.

Day and Night

The title if this post sums up these lipsticks...I chose Faux, a light Pink color and Media, a dramatic dark red shade. At first I was iffy about Media,  but decided to go with it and finally try out the dark lip trend. AnD luckily the color seems to suit me well :)
Have you guys tried this trend?
sorry for the non matching liner :/ I couldn't find a nude one

4-5 small potatoes (I used white)

wash your potatoes and cut the corn in half

once boiling add your corn and potatoes
add chopped onion and garlic

then add your lemon and all dry ingredients and the old bay seasoning. Boil for 15 minutes.

                                                                     add the shellfish

sprinkle with chili powder and cover for 20 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink.

Inglot Haul

While on my trip to Las Vegas, one of the places I made sure to stop at was Inglot. I bought a 5 pan palette and 5 eye shadows  The colors I picked are just random colors I swatched while in the store. As far as the pigment goes, I really like it! It;s true to colors and vibrant even the nude color. The texture of all these shadows are suPer smooth even though they appear to be glittery. Overall I think  the quality of these eye shadows are excellent and sell for a very reasonable price.
beige shadow is #395 it reminds me of MAC's Nylon eyeshadow, the Orange  is actually a rusty Brown color #464
# 459 My favorite! I love Taupe colors with Purple undertones.
#414 a pretty beatle Green
#482 amazing color!

Hard Candy Haul

Here's yesterdays small haul from Walmart. I bought "Take it Off" makeup remover "Eye'm Tired" eye cream and "Glow all the Way" luminzer in Doll Face. I really like the makeup remover, it's not greasy and doea wonders at removing my waterproof eyeliner. The luminizer is a light shimmery Pink- it has less shimmer than Benefit's High Beam. I put this on my face then blend it really well and then apply my tinted moisturizer. As for the eye cream, the results are okay...nothing spectacular. What you do is apply directly from the tube to your eye. The tip has 3 roller balls that are intended to massage away the bags under your eye. As you roll the tip over your eye area, the cream dispenses and is a clear and kind is runny. Unfortunately I did not notice any brightening after application. I liked the makeup remover and luminizer best.
Have you tried any Hard Candy products? What are your favorites?

Soho Beauty

I was so happy to have purchased these brushes at Big Lots for $ 2.50 each I remember seeing them at Walmart at around $6-7 so this was definitely a good deal :) I got the all over shadow brush and the angled blending brush. The all over shadow brush is made of pony hair, and the angled brush is made of nylon fibers. Even so, it's still just as soft as the pony haired brush-even after washing it. The handle is a little longer than MAC's and has a grooves so your fingers grip the brush with out it slipping out of your hand. Oh! And also...the brushes come with a beauty tips that are actually useful! Now that I've tried these brushes I'll be on the look out for more deal or no deal:)
